About the music headliner

Best known for his abilities as a squeezebox player, Percy Cardona is also a singer, songwriter, audio engineer, and producer. His most notable achievement has been touring the world as the accordionist and background vocalist for the English icon: Sting.

Cardona's commercial success crosses over multiple genres with his contributions to Warner Music Nashville’s: The Last Bandoleros, and Tejano Staples: Stefani Montiel, and David Marez.

Percy Cardona was raised in the small town of Big Wells, Texas. Since discovering his ear at the age of twelve, Cardona learned multiple instruments with the aid of his musical relatives. Percy’s knack for entertaining crowds brought some notoriety early on. While performing in the marching and jazz bands in high school, Cardona simultaneously played shows with local acts before making his way into the Tejano circuit.

The showman attended classes at the Audio Engineering Institute of San Antonio. His in-studio collaborations earned him Latin Grammy nominations in 2014, 2016, and 2018.

Percy Cardona's accolades and big smile are reflections of his eagerness to entertain the masses while honorably representing his community.
